Silver Cactus® by Gufram is the silver edition of the iconic sculptural coat rack created by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello in 1972. This version celebrates sixty years of Gufram, a brand founded in 1966. It retains the silhouette of the original Cactus® while transforming its appearance with a hand-applied silver Guflac® finish. Applied in Gufram’s workshops, the shimmering coating follows every spine and protrusion, highlighting the details of its unmistakable form.

Originally conceived as an unconventional interpretation of a coat rack, Cactus® became an icon of Italian radical design. Silver Cactus® preserves its playful, experimental character, combining practical use with the presence of a domestic sculpture. In the living room, the silver surface draws attention to its distinctive outline from every angle. Produced in a limited edition of just 60 pieces, it celebrates the brand’s anniversary through a new interpretation of one of its most recognisable creations.
