Sess, an enigmatic chair designed by Nani Prina, was created between 1968 and 1969 as an object of mystery and provocation. An architect, designer and journalist, Prina conceived a form that defies definition, suspended between art and design, between comfort and concept. This ‘domestic sculpture’ carries with it the fascinating ambiguity of someone who does not need to explain himself in order to be understood. It is an invitation to sit, to lie down, to interpret.
