Gufram Guframini Miniature capital

The Guframini Capitello by Studio 65 is a small sculpture that reproduces, in a reduced size, the famous armchair in the shape of an Ionic capital, one of the icons of radical Italian design in the 1970s. Originally conceived as a surreal armchair that mixed the classical world with modern irony, this mini version retains the same desecrating spirit, but is designed exclusively as a decorative object.

Made of polyurethane foam and finished by hand, the Guframini Capitello retains all the texture and details of the original, thanks to a special patented paint, Guflac, that makes the surface soft and resistant. Despite its small size - about 30 cm - it is surprisingly faithful in shape and detail, turning it into a unique collector's piece.

This miniature is a tribute to the rebellious spirit of radical Italian design, which broke with the canons of the time by proposing irreverent and provocative shapes. Placed in a modern space, the Guframini Capitello is a small window on the world of design that transforms an ancient Greek capital into an ironic and contemporary pop icon.
