Foscarini Hoba led suspension lamp

The Foscarini Hoba LED suspension lamp, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, draws inspiration from the eponymous meteorite discovered in Namibia in 1920, reinterpreting its asymmetrical and irregular silhouette in a refined design object. The diffuser is crafted from mouth-blown opal glass treated with a careful acid-etching process. Blown in an open mold without rotation, each piece acquires subtly unique contours, making every lamp truly one of a kind. The structure combines acid-etched layered glass with ABS in a white finish and a transparent cable.

Hoba produces a diffused, warm and enveloping light at 2700 K with a color rendering index greater than 90, making it an elegant choice for the living room, the bedroom or the kitchen. It is available in three sizes: the Midi version (190×190×190 mm, 12W, 1352 lm) features a self-supporting cable; the Medium (240×250×240 mm, 24W, 2581 lm) and Large (360×360×360 mm, 24W, 2581 lm) versions use a steel cable with a transparent electric cord for a stable and sophisticated suspension. Each size is available in On-off or Push/DALI configurations. The integrated LED source is dimmable, with IP20 protection and energy class E. A 10-metre suspension cable is available upon request.
