Foscarini Gregg suspension lamp

Foscarini Gregg is a suspension lamp designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba for Foscarini. Its shade is crafted from mouth-blown, acid-etched satin white glass, produced using a refined artisanal technique that combines still-blowing with acid immersion, resulting in a surface that is simultaneously delicate and luminous. The ring is made of opaque transparent polycarbonate in the medium and large versions, and white polycarbonate in the small version. The ceiling rose and lamp holder support are in galvanized metal; the small and midi versions feature a self-supporting cable, while the medium and large versions use a steel cable with a transparent electric cable for a stable and elegant suspension. The lamp is available in four sizes: small, midi, medium and large.

Gregg produces a diffused, warm and enveloping light, ideal for illuminating a living room or a bedroom with understated sophistication, whether used individually or combined in multi-lamp compositions. The small version uses a G9 fitting with a maximum power of 8W and is not dimmable, while the midi, medium and large versions include a LED retrofit source, a colour temperature of 2700 K, CRI above 80 and are dimmable. The midi version delivers 806 lm at 5.5W with an E14 fitting; the medium and large versions each provide 2452 lm at 20W with an E27 fitting. On request, the medium and large versions are available in the MyLight edition with Bluetooth dimming via an included Casambi device. A 10-metre suspension cable is also available on request.
