Fontana Arte Tropico Small is a wall lamp — or ceiling flush mount — designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for FontanaArte. The project revolves around a single central theme: the shape of light. The diffuser in opal white acid-etched blown glass collects, contains and diffuses light throughout the space, enhancing it through opal layers and refined curves that generate surprising and captivating effects. The central button in galvanized metal, available in Glossy Gold and Glossy Black finishes, completes an aesthetic that is both refined and timeless.

Thanks to its diffused and dimmable light emission, Tropico Small integrates effortlessly into high-end residential settings, from the living room to the bedroom, where both light quality and aesthetic value are essential. The integrated 20.5 W LED source delivers a colour temperature of 3000 K in warm white, a luminous flux of 2200 lm and a colour rendering index greater than 80, ensuring natural and faithful colour perception. Dimming is achieved via trailing edge/leading edge phase cut (IGBT-TRIAC), compatible with the most common dimmer systems. With a diameter of 24 cm and a depth of just 7.3 cm, the lamp installs discreetly on both wall and ceiling surfaces, with an IP20 protection rating for indoor use and universal voltage compatibility of 100–240 V for worldwide installation.
