Thalea 5 by FontanaArte is a LED suspension lamp with a distinctive contemporary and compositional character, designed by Paolo Rizzatto and Francesco Librizzi. Its structure consists of a series of lampshades in colored borosilicate glass and aluminum, varying in size and width, with a conical shape and a slight curvature that softens the overall silhouette. In this model, three colored glass lampshades are paired with a black metal element, whose purpose is to separate the light emissions and eliminate unwanted reflections: the inner rings firmly hold the entire composition together. Thalea draws inspiration from Renaissance proportions and the masterpieces of Italian art, reinterpreted through a distinctly contemporary design language.

Thanks to its modular nature and rich color palette — ranging from warm to cool tones, combinable in harmony or contrast — Thalea 5 is the ideal choice for bringing light and personality to a living room or any representative space where light becomes a decorative and identity-defining element. The dual light source system features a 20W LED that diffuses light through the colored glass shades and an 8W LED spot to directly illuminate the surfaces below, with the option to request a diffused-light-only version. The total power consumption is 28W, with a color rendering index above CRI 90 and a color temperature of 2700K warm white, delivering a welcoming, high-quality atmosphere. The lamp is dimmable via DALI system, compatible with input voltages of 100-240V, and includes the ceiling canopy (Ø 215x45 mm). The protection rating is IP20, suited for indoor use.
