Fontana Arte Sillaba Large is a wall and ceiling lamp designed by Piero Castiglioni for FontanaArte, created in the late 1980s and still remarkably relevant today. Its essential form and discreet, pure style make it one of the most versatile expressions of Italian design: crafted in thermoplastic material, it features an internally moulded and sandblasted borosilicate glass diffuser that delivers a soft, uniform diffused light. With a diameter of 140 mm, the Large version offers a refined yet understated presence.

Thanks to its dual mounting option — wall or ceiling — and its elegant design neutrality, Sillaba Large adapts effortlessly to both residential and contract settings, from the bedroom to the living room and beyond. The lamp uses a LED light source with G9 lampholder (bulb not included) and is fully dimmable, allowing precise control over light intensity to suit any atmosphere. Its IP44 protection rating also makes it suitable for environments where moisture may be present, further expanding its installation possibilities.
