Fontana Arte Pinecone Medium table lamp

Fontana Arte Pinecone Medium is a table lamp designed by Paola Navone in collaboration with FontanaArte, celebrating the ancient art of caged blown glass with outstanding craftsmanship. The glassmaster mouth-blows the glass bubble into a metal cage that only partially contains its natural expansion: the molten glass fills the spaces, swelling in a sinuous and unexpected way, creating a compelling play of tension between material and structure. The metal cage is then further enhanced with a galvanic treatment that amplifies its brilliance, making it shiny and visually precious. The result is a distinctive object that embodies the imperfect beauty of handmade craftsmanship.

The Pinecone Medium stands out for its scenographic impact both when switched off and on, making it an ideal centrepiece for the living room or a statement bedroom. The transparent version reveals a double layer of structure, projecting a kaleidoscopic play of shadows onto surrounding surfaces for a dramatic decorative effect. The white version, on the other hand, softly follows the cage and emphasises its geometries, producing an elegant, pleasant diffused light. The blown glass diffuser is paired with a galvanised metal base, available in White-Gold, Transparent-Gold, White-Chrome and Transparent-Chrome finishes, with a transparent power cable, dimmer and plug. The lamp features an E26-E27 lampholder, is compatible with LED or halogen light sources — not included — and supports an input voltage of 100-240 V, making it suitable for international markets. With a total height of 360 mm and a diameter of 300 mm, protection degree IP20 and insulation class II, the lamp's dimmable function allows light intensity to be adjusted to suit any mood or time of day.
