Pangen by FontanaArte is a ceiling lamp born in 1969 and part of the Milanese brand's historical archive, designed by the Technical Office — an in-house collective of architects and engineers. The dome-shaped metal diffuser features a glossy lacquered finish available in Black, White and Red, with a white interior that efficiently distributes light downward in a direct and focused manner. The formal simplicity of Pangen conceals remarkable expressive power: the reflections cast by the shiny surface create ever-changing nuances throughout the room, giving every space a character that is at once minimal and lively — a style best described as minimal pop.
