Fontana Arte Metafora is a glass table lamp created in 1980 by designer Umberto Riva for FontanaArte. A timeless icon of Italian design, Metafora is defined by a structure composed of two glass cones joined by an exposed interlocking chromed metal frame: the conical base is crafted in transparent blown glass, while the upper diffuser is in layered, glossy, paste-colored opaline glass. The artisanal quality of the blown glass, enhanced by geometrically perfect lines, gives this contemporary re-edition the same precious character as the original. Light is emitted in a diffused manner through an E26-E27 lampholder compatible with LED sources up to 21 W, dimmable via an integrated dimmer with transparent power cord and European two-pin plug. The universal voltage 100-240 V ensures full international compatibility, while insulation class II and protection rating IP20 confirm its suitability for indoor use. Bulb not included.
