Fontana Arte Meridiano suspension lamp

Fontana Arte Meridiano is a glass suspension lamp designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for FontanaArte, created in 2020 as an expression of refinement and innovation in lighting design. The structure features a blown glass capsule — available in Pink, Smoked or Transparent finishes — enclosing a cylindrical diffuser crafted from internally painted Pyrex glass. This combination of materials produces an enchanting and ever-changing optical effect, as light filters through layers of tinted, opal and transparent glass to create atmospheres that are always new and unique. The suspension system includes a 250 cm steel cable, a black power cable and a metal canopy, all included in the supply.

One of the most distinctive features of Meridiano is its dual switching system with separate lighting control: the central integrated LED source is dimmable via a 1-10 Volt system, while the lower source is operated by a simple On-Off switch included with the lamp. A colour temperature of 2700 K warm white and a colour rendering index greater than 90 ensure outstanding light quality that faithfully enhances materials and surfaces. With diffused and direct light emission and an IP20 protection rating, Meridiano is designed for interior use where aesthetics and functionality combine seamlessly. The lamp is available in two sizes: the Medium version (Ø 41×31 cm) features 25W + 8W LEDs delivering 2900 lm + 1180 lm, while the Large version (Ø 54.4×41 cm) integrates 35W + 8W LEDs for a luminous flux of 4000 lm + 1180 lm. Both sizes can be used individually or arranged in cluster compositions for more dramatic light design installations.
