Fontana Arte Flute Medium Floor Lamp in Glass

Flute Medium by FontanaArte is a glass floor lamp designed by Franco Raggi in 1991, a true icon of contemporary Italian design. Its refined structure features a stem in transparent borosilicate glass, a cone-shaped reflector in polished chromed aluminium supported by three chromed arms, and a base and reflector support in chromed metal. Light reflects inside the cone and radiates upwards in a fully indirect emission, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.

With its balanced elegance and sculptural presence, Flute Medium is the ideal statement piece for a living room or any space furnished with refined taste. The lamp reaches a total height of 1920 mm with a base diameter of 270 mm, proportions that make it a visually striking corner piece. The power cable, sliding dimmer and schuko-type plug are entirely transparent, preserving the visual cleanliness of the design. The lamp is dimmable and fitted with an E26-E27 lampholder, compatible with LED or halogen light sources up to 250W; the bulb is not included. With a protection rating of IP20 and a universal input voltage of 100-240 V, it is compatible with electrical standards across Europe, the USA, Australia, the UK and Japan. In 2001, the Flute lamp was selected for the Compasso d'Oro Award and won the Marie Claire Diploma VI Prix d'excellence. It is also available in a taller version and in different configurations.
