Fontana Arte Cheshire Table Lamp for Indoor

Cheshire by FontanaArte is a dome table lamp of pure and elegant design, conceived in 2013 by the designer duo GamFratesi. The project draws inspiration from the iconic Cheshire Cat in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland: the character's attitude of patient expectation is translated into the lamp's curved, enveloping diffuser shape, with its rich and captivating finish. The frame is crafted in painted metal, while the upper diffuser is made of painted polycarbonate — available in black or white — and the lower diffuser in opal polycarbonate, designed to produce a soft, downward light emission.

Cheshire brings distinctive personality to a living room or bedroom, striking a refined balance between sculptural form and lighting function. With a total height of 530 mm and a base diameter of 350 mm, it suits both generous surfaces and more intimate settings. The lamp features 3 E26-E27 lampholders compatible with LED light sources, with a transparent cable, switch and plug that preserve the lamp's formal purity. It operates on 100-240 V input voltage, making it suitable for worldwide use (EU, USA, UK, Australia, Japan). Rated IP40 for indoor use and compliant with Insulation Class III, the lamp is not dimmable and bulbs are not included.
