Fontana Arte Cheshire Floor Lamp

Cheshire by FontanaArte is a floor lamp of pure and elegant design, created in 2013 by the designer duo GamFratesi. The project draws inspiration from Lewis Carroll's iconic Cheshire Cat — the mysterious character from Alice in Wonderland, forever suspended in an attitude of expectation. It is this very image that gives birth to the curved, enveloping shape of the diffuser, with its distinctive and refined finish. The structure is crafted in painted metal, while the diffusers are made of polycarbonate: the upper one is painted in either white or black, while the lower one is in opal polycarbonate, delivering a soft and enveloping light output.

Cheshire features a direct light emission, powered by three LED light sources with E26/E27 fitting — not included — ensuring generous and high-quality illumination. The lamp is ideal for enhancing residential interiors with a strong personality, where its sculptural design quality merges seamlessly with its lighting function. Fitted with an integrated cable switch and a transparent cord and plug, it brings effortless elegance to any living room or bedroom. With a total height of 1450 mm and a base diameter of 350 mm, it supports universal input voltages from 100 to 240 V and is rated IP40 for indoor use. Its non-dimmable configuration makes it a plug-and-play statement piece of great visual impact.
