Fontana Arte Chandelier Ovale suspension lamp

Chandelier Ovale by FontanaArte, designed by David Chipperfield, is a designer suspension lamp that reinterprets the traditional chandelier through an essential, architectural and contemporary composition. Its distinctive elongated oval ring, crafted in painted metal and glass, creates a striking luminous presence, while the light sources arranged around the perimeter evoke the timeless allure of traditional candles in a thoroughly modern way.

Chandelier Ovale is available in two sizes, conceived to suit different spaces and proportions, making it an ideal centrepiece for grand reception rooms as well as refined residential interiors such as the living room. The more compact version measures 200 × 50 cm and is fitted with 24 E14 light sources, each with a maximum power of 4W, while the larger version measures 300 × 90 cm and features 32 E14 light sources, again at a maximum of 4W each. In both configurations, the suspension system can be adjusted up to 500 cm, making Chandelier Ovale suitable even for interiors with high ceilings. Light emission is indirect, with an LED source operating at 220–240 V, an IP20 protection rating and TRIAC dimming, allowing light intensity to be adjusted to suit the desired atmosphere. The canopy is included; bulbs are not included.
