Fontana Arte Blom table lamp

Blom by FontanaArte is a table lamp with a poetic and contemporary character, designed by Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik. Its name comes from the Norwegian word blomst, meaning flower, perfectly reflecting the organic shape of this luminous object: a small corolla of polycarbonate petals that wraps the diffuser with lightness and grace. The compact structure — 240 mm in height and 150 mm in diameter — makes it both discreet and distinctive, capable of bringing a touch of refined design to any corner of the home.

Blom's shape is more than aesthetic: the petals surrounding the light source also serve a practical purpose, allowing the intensity of the diffused light to be modulated simply by rotating the lamp body on its base, revealing or concealing more or less of the source as desired. Thanks to its compact dimensions and the lightness of polycarbonate, it can be placed effortlessly on tables, shelves, consoles or bedside tables, fitting naturally into both a living room and a bedroom setting. The included switch and transparent cord complete a design that is as attentive to detail as it is to beauty.

From a technical standpoint, Blom features an E14 lampholder compatible with LED or fluorescent light sources — recommended options include a 5.7W E14 LED (2700K – 470 lm) or an 11W E14 fluorescent (2700K – 620 lm), neither of which is included. The lamp carries an IP20 protection rating for indoor use and belongs to insulation class II. It is not dimmable. Compatibility with the main international voltage standards — EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP — makes it a versatile product for customers across different markets.
