Flos Zeppelin 1 suspension lamp
Description
The famous Zeppelin chandelier, designed by Marcel Wanders in 2005 for Flos and featured at the Olympics for Casa Italia, is a traditional chandelier recreated as if by magic: a glance at the lamp reveals its authentic essence within the cocoon that transformed it.
Zeppelin 1 is a diffused light fixture. Its internal structure is made of white powder-coated steel, with a Cocoon resin diffuser sprayed directly onto the structure and covered with transparent protection made by spraying at the end of processing. The "candles" are made of transparent polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). The faceted crystal sphere, which provides a sparkling effect, is placed in the center at the bottom of the lamp.
Zeppelin 1 is the smallest version, with a total diameter of 1100 mm. The light source is not included.
