Flos Workmates Up&Down suspension lamp

Flos Workmates Up&Down is a suspension lamp from the Workmates system by Flos Architectural, designed to meet the lighting requirements of new contemporary and multidisciplinary workspaces. With its extremely thin 15 mm profile and a length of 1200 mm, this Up&Down dual-emission luminaire combines a Down Full Spectrum light source with high colour rendering and an Up high-output light source, delivering both downward illumination and upward light distribution toward the ceiling. LED technology with CRI98 ensures outstanding colour rendering close to natural light, while the High Comfort optics with a 65° beam angle reduce glare and visual fatigue, promoting a more productive and healthier working environment.

The Workmates system places human well-being at the centre of lighting design: Full Spectrum sources respect natural circadian lighting patterns, achieving an optimal NLAS index. Perfectly suited to modern office environments, open-plan spaces and co-working areas, the Workmates Up&Down also adapts elegantly to showrooms and high-end professional settings. The 5-metre suspension cable is adjustable in height to suit specific installation requirements. A mechanical splicing module for modular lines is available to connect multiple units, creating continuous and scenic linear compositions. The colour temperature can be selected between 3000K (warm light) and 4000K (neutral light): at 3000K, the Majority Up configuration (70/30) delivers 3089 lm upward and 1633 lm downward, while the Majority Down configuration (40/60) provides 2122 lm Up and 3185 lm Down; at 4000K, the Majority Up configuration reaches 4022 lm Up and 1725 lm Down, while Majority Down delivers 2081 lm Up and 3122 lm Down. Power consumption is 57W (58.5W in the Casambi version) and the luminaire is dimmable via On/Off-DALI or wireless Casambi protocols, with integrated or external sensors for intelligent light management. For the Casambi version, the maximum distance between luminaires is 50 metres. The degree of protection is IP20 and the voltage is compatible with all major international standards (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP). The luminaire depth is 100 mm. Additional options are available on request: 3500K colour temperature, Wide Flood 71° optics, Oval 71° optics, High Efficiency source, Smart version with presence detection, Tunable White (CCT) version, and Tunable White Smart version (CCT + presence detection). The driver is not included: the installation ceiling rose with power driver must be purchased separately, available in versions for remote, surface or recessed installation (see Accessories).
