Flos Workmates Down suspension lamp

Flos Workmates Down is a suspension lamp from the Workmates system by Flos Architectural, designed to meet the lighting requirements of new contemporary and multidisciplinary workspaces. With its extremely slim 15 mm profile, this luminaire combines a refined, minimal aesthetic with high-level technical performance, placing visual well-being at the heart of the lighting design.

Powered by a Full Spectrum LED source at 28 W with an outstanding CRI98 colour rendering index, Workmates Down faithfully reproduces natural light, supporting human well-being and natural circadian rhythms through an optimal Natural Light Average Secondment NLAS index. Light is emitted directly downward through High Comfort 66° optics, minimising glare and eye fatigue to ensure a productive and healthy environment. These qualities make it ideal for modern office spaces and open-plan work environments.

The luminaire has a length of 1200 mm and a depth of 100 mm, and comes with a 5-metre suspension cable adjustable in height as required. A mechanical splicing module for modular lines is also available, allowing multiple units to be connected together for continuous linear compositions. Colour temperature can be selected between 3000K (warm light) and 4000K (neutral light), with compatibility with the main international voltage standards (EU, AUD, USA, UK, JAP) and a protection rating of IP20.

The system is dimmable and supports On/Off-DALI and Casambi (wireless) control protocols, with integrated or external sensors to adjust the light for every situation. In the Casambi version, the maximum distance between luminaires must be 50 metres. The driver is not included: the installation ceiling rose with power driver must be purchased separately, available in versions for remote, surface or recessed installation (see Accessories).

Only upon request, the following versions are also available: 3500K colour temperature, Wide Flood 73° optics, Oval 71° optics, and High Efficiency source. Luminaire dimensions: length 1200 mm, thickness 15 mm, depth 100 mm.
