Flos Toio HL White floor lamp halogen

Flos Toio HL is an iconic floor lamp designed in 1962 by brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos. Its origin is rooted in an experimental and visionary approach: the Castiglionis reimagined a car headlight imported from the United States, transforming an industrial component into a landmark of avant-garde design. So revolutionary was this idea that it earned the lamp a permanent place at the MoMA in New York. The structure is crafted in steel with a sheared and bent base and liquid-painted vertical profiles, available here in a white finish.

The most distinctive feature of the Toio is its telescopic rod adjustment, allowing the spotlight to be positioned between 1580 and 1950 mm in height, adapting both direction and intensity of light to the space. The 300 W halogen PAR light source with GX16D lampholder — included in the package — produces indirect, warm and well-distributed upward light, dimmable via the integrated dimmer on the power cord (2470 mm length). With a protection rating of IP20 and an input voltage of 100–240 V, it is the perfect statement piece for a living room or any characterful interior, seamlessly blending design history with contemporary functionality.
