Flos TAU L 554 is a linear wall or ceiling lamp by Flos Outdoor, featuring a 5W LED light source at 24V DC. The tubular body is crafted in polycarbonate with an anti-UV filter, complemented by sandblasted polycarbonate fixing brackets and anodized aluminium end caps. Measuring 554 mm in length, 25 mm in diameter and just 40 mm in height, TAU L 554 stands out for its slender and refined profile, designed to integrate seamlessly into any architectural setting. The IP65 rating ensures complete protection against dust and water jets, making it fully suitable for use in exposed outdoor environments.

TAU L 554 is ideal for enhancing outdoor spaces such as terraces, pergolas, porches and architectural facades, thanks to its durability and the quality of its light output. The symmetrical optics with a 110° beam angle ensure a wide and even light distribution, while the possibility of orienting the luminaire during installation allows a choice between direct or indirect light emission towards the surface. A CRI80 colour rendering index guarantees faithful colour reproduction, available in colour temperatures of 2700K, 3000K and 4000K to suit different atmospheric requirements. The luminous flux of 420 lm delivers effective, well-distributed illumination. The lamp is dimmable and compatible with the main international voltage standards (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP). The luminaire features a screw connector at each end of the tube: the power cable, available as a single 2-metre cable for direct connection to the power supply or as a double cable for end-to-end sequential connection (8 cm or 20 cm), must be ordered separately. Multiple units can be installed in end-to-end sequence for a maximum length of 5 metres. The 24V DC remote power supply must also be purchased separately. The diffuser is available in transparent and opal finishes. Care should be taken during installation and maintenance to avoid damage to the coating, as prolonged exposure to external agents, water or chemicals may compromise its anti-corrosive protection.
