Flos Superarchimoon Outdoor floor lamp

Flos Superarchimoon Outdoor is an outdoor floor lamp of extraordinary scale, designed by Philippe Starck in 2006 for Flos Outdoor. Standing 2420 mm tall with a length of 2140 mm, it commands an impressive architectural presence while delivering outstanding construction quality for long-term weather resistance. The structural parts — base support, arms, brackets, levers and tie rods — undergo a galvanizing treatment and are finished in grey, while springs and key mechanical components are manufactured from specialist weather-resistant materials. The external diffuser is formed by braided colored PVC tubes over an internal frame in polyester-painted phospho-chromated aluminium; the internal diffuser is in injection-moulded opal polycarbonate, producing a combination of direct and diffused light. The single light source uses an E26-E27 lampholder and is compatible with LED or halogen bulbs at a 3000 K warm white colour temperature. The fixture is dimmable and accepts universal voltage from 100–240 V (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP).
