Flos String Light Cone LED Suspension Lamp

Flos String Light Cone is a LED suspension lamp designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2021 for Flos, inspired by electric railway cables. The die-cast painted aluminium body features a transparent soft-touch coating combined with an opal polycarbonate optical diffuser measuring 190 mm in diameter, delivering a soft, enveloping light at 2700 K warm white. The integrated 21 W LED source produces 1035 lm and incorporates a touch dimmer: simply pinch the cable near the lamp body to adjust brightness. The system is compatible with 100–240 V (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP) and carries an IP20 protection rating.

String Light Cone is a highly versatile and creative lighting system, available with a Kevlar-reinforced coaxial cable in 12 or 22 metre lengths: the 12 m version includes 5 wall/ceiling hooks, while the 22 m version includes 7, enabling complete freedom in routing the cable. This installation flexibility makes it an elegant choice for the living room as well as for residential and contract spaces of varying sizes. A wall/ceiling rose or a Floor Switch is required for operation and must be purchased separately; both accessories can also power multiple light sources. The lamp is available in black, white and blue; neutral 4000 K and cool 5000 K versions are available on request. Power supply is not included.
