Flos String Light Cone and floor switch blue

Flos String Light Cone with floor switch in blue is an iconic suspension lighting system designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos. The body in die-cast aluminum with transparent soft-touch paint houses a conical optical diffuser in opal PC, 190 mm in diameter, delivering soft and enveloping diffused light. The integrated 21 W LED source at 2700 K (warm white) ensures high-quality illumination, dimmable via a touch system: simply brush the cable near the diffuser to adjust brightness. The input voltage is universal (100–240 V, EU/AUD/USA/UK/JAP), with insulation class III and IP20 protection rating.

This complete package includes the cone diffuser in blue, a blue floor switch, and 12 meters of Kevlar-reinforced coaxial cable, along with 5 hooks for wall or ceiling fixing that allow full freedom in routing the cable. The floor switch — rated at 120–277 V/48 V — features internal storage for up to 10 meters of residual cable and supports the installation of up to two heads with two cable exit routes.
