Flos Skygarden 2 suspension lamp
Description
Skygarden, designed in 2007, is the result of Marcel Wanders' intuition to translate a private life moment into design. When the desginer had to move from his home, where he had a beautiful ceiling with plaster decoration of floral motifs, he decided to detach it and bring it to his new home. Skygarden in fact, through design, becomes the telling of his story. Its magic is a fantasy of flowers, berries and leaves to be admired, a special feature that makes it a timeless creation.
Skygarden 2 is the largest version of the collection, with a diameter of 900mm. The dome is made of cast plaster painted white on the inside while the exterior finishes can be rust, matte black, white or gold. The inner support of the lamp holder is made of PPS, while the diffuser is made of blown opaline glass. The ceiling rose is included and painted in the same color as the body.
