Flos Real Matter recessed wall lamp brushed bronze IP65

Flos Real Matter is an outdoor recessed wall luminaire designed by Piero Lissoni for Flos Outdoor. The body is crafted in AISI 316L stainless steel treated with a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) process: following the brushing stage, the surfaces are coated with a thin film of metals such as zirconium and titanium which, bonding with the steel at a molecular level, enhance both mechanical resistance and weather durability, resulting in the brushed bronze finish that is as refined as it is long-lasting. The diffuser is made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate, and the LED light source draws just 3 W, offering a CRI80 colour rendering index with a choice of colour temperature between 2700K and 3000K. The IP65 protection rating ensures reliable performance even in exposed outdoor conditions.

With its compact footprint — 150 mm in height, 115 mm in width and only 15 mm deep — Real Matter integrates seamlessly into any exterior cladding, making it an ideal steplight or accent fixture for pathways, façades and outdoor spaces. The luminaire operates at 24 V AC/DC and is compatible with EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP voltages; it is supplied with two power cables (length 2000 mm) and an IP-sealed connection kit. The 24 V electronic driver, not included, can be installed remotely or housed behind the fixture in the formwork. Insulation class III and the low-voltage input further contribute to installation safety. Real Matter is available in three installation versions: recessed into masonry or concrete using a dedicated formwork box, to be ordered separately as an accessory; into a plasterboard wall with included springs, suitable for surfaces between 5 mm and 20 mm thick; or directly onto masonry or concrete without formwork, glued in place with an adhesive chosen by the installer according to the substrate material.
