Flos Parentesi Red is one of the most celebrated icons of Italian industrial design, created by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù for Flos. The lamp features a steel tube shaped like a parenthesis — the element that inspired its name — which slides along a steel cable stretched between the ceiling and the floor, allowing effortless vertical repositioning of the light source with a gentle hand movement. A pure expression of the form=function principle, Parentesi was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and is today exhibited at the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale.

This red version adds a bold chromatic accent to contemporary residential spaces, from the living room to the bedroom, where its direct, height-adjustable light emission allows precise illumination placement. The lamp comes complete with a LED bulb included (E27, R125 shape, 11 W, 2700 K warm white, average lifespan 20,000 hours), a 4000 mm power cord, integrated switch, and IP20 protection rating for indoor use. Input voltage is 220–240 V; this version is not dimmable. The diffuser diameter measures 110 mm.
