Flos Parentesi Double floor lamp black suspension

Flos Parentesi Double is one of the most celebrated icons of Italian industrial design, created by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù for Flos. This black floor-to-ceiling suspension lamp consists of two units — Parentesi (F5400030) and Parentesi Element (F5500030) — both crafted in steel, designed to slide vertically along a taut cable stretched between floor and ceiling. The distinctive bracket-shaped tube allows each light body to be repositioned with a gentle hand pressure, embodying the principle of form=function in its purest form. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, Parentesi is today on permanent display at the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale.
