Flos Oplight W1 wall lamp

Flos Oplight W1 is a LED wall lamp designed by Jasper Morrison in 2021, the result of a design approach focused on sustainability and advanced technology. The body is crafted from die-cast aluminium with a powder-coat finish — lightweight yet durable — while the transparent diffuser, which also acts as a lens, is made from injection-moulded polycarbonate secured with snap-fit quick-release couplings, with no adhesives used. This construction makes all components fully separable, replaceable and recyclable, including the 16W LED board, which is not glued to the heat sink.

Oplight W1 delivers warm light at 2700 K with a luminous flux of 1290 lm, an estimated lifespan of 50,000 hours and dimmable operation at 220-240 V. Its compact dimensions — 222×193×95 mm — and IP20 indoor rating make it a discreet yet characterful choice for a variety of settings. Whether in the living room, the bedroom or the office, Oplight W1 contributes to the atmosphere without imposing itself. Available in white and black finishes, it proves that minimal aesthetics and environmental responsibility can coexist in a single design object.
