Flos Mile 2 recessed ceiling lamp

Flos Mile 2 is a recessed ceiling lamp with integrated LED for outdoor use, designed by Antonio Citterio for Flos Outdoor. Its design is rigorous, clean and minimal, defined by a precise square form in aluminum with compact dimensions — 145×85×145 mm — making it discreet and unmistakably contemporary. The optical unit has been specially engineered to ensure maximum visual comfort, reducing direct glare through recessed power LEDs, transparent polycarbonate lenses for a controlled and homogeneous light beam, and conical reflectors in glossy black polycarbonate with extreme cut-off angles.

Perfect for residential and commercial outdoor settings, Mile 2 suits avenues, porches, entrances, balconies and terraces wherever refined technical lighting is required. The light source is a 15 W integrated LED, powered at 220–240 V via an integrated driver, with direct symmetric emission and a 40° beam angle (Optic Flood Beam) — Spot 12° and Medium 26° optics are also available on request. The color temperature is selectable between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white, with a CRI greater than 80 for high-quality color rendering. The IP66 protection rating ensures full resistance to weathering, while insulation class I guarantees electrical safety. The luminaire can be installed in false ceilings using the included fixing springs; for installation in masonry or reinforced concrete ceilings, a dedicated galvanized steel formwork for casting is available among the installation accessories. A version with 2700K color temperature and DALI or 1-10V dimming is available on request. Available finishes include White, Grey, Anthracite, Black, Green, Brown and Primer, the latter paintable to any desired color once assembled.
