Flos Luce Sferica suspension lamp

Flos Luce Sferica is a suspension lamp designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Flos, seeking the delicacy and beauty of simplicity, like raindrops or soap bubbles. Its horizontal body in polished extruded aluminium houses two LED strips with direct and indirect light emission, enclosed by a sequence of hand-blown glass spheres with a uniform diameter of Ø215 mm. At one end of the bar, an innovative touch dimmer allows the selection of upward, downward or combined emission, with independent intensity control for each direction. Central spheres feature two through-holes, while end spheres have a single opening, separated by spacers that compensate for the natural variations inherent to handcrafted production.

Ideal for enhancing a living room or prestigious interior spaces, Luce Sferica is available in three lengths, all dimmable, with an LED source at 2700 K and a CRI greater than 90. Model S1 spans 1672 mm with 8 spheres, 110 W and 5345 lm; Model S2 reaches 2088 mm with 10 spheres, 145 W and 6682 lm; Model S3, the largest configuration, measures 2504 mm with 12 spheres, 165 W and 8018 lm. The included canopy (509×103×45.5 mm) supports input voltages from 100–240 V. Each sphere is handmade, and small variations in shape or surface make every piece unique and one of a kind.
