Flos Light Shadow PRO 45 Surface is a surface-mounted LED spotlight from the Light Shadow PRO family by Flos Architectural, designed for ceiling installation in indoor environments. Its compact cylindrical body — 52 mm in diameter and 106 mm in height — reflects a design philosophy centred on maximum visual comfort: the geometry ensures that the light source remains recessed relative to the lamp's outer surface, providing a very wide cut-off angle that prevents direct visual access to the LED. The optical system patented by Flos almost entirely prevents light from striking the outer shell of the product, delivering a high-comfort effect that is especially effective in versions with a black interior.

The Light Shadow PRO 45 Surface is an ideal solution for accent lighting in both residential and contract settings, including living room, office, and commercial spaces where precise light control is essential. At its core, an integrated LED module operates on a constant current of 250 mA, with an absorbed power of 11 W and a luminous flux of 844 lm. The 3000 K colour temperature produces a warm and inviting light, while the CRI 90 colour rendering index ensures faithful colour reproduction — essential in display or high-quality residential environments. The fixed optic with a medium 20° beam angle delivers precise, direct light distribution, with patented bifocal silicone lenses eliminating spurious light and optimising the Light Output Ratio (L.O.R.) by making full use of the LED's raw luminous flux. The driver is included and the fixture operates at 220-240 V. An IP54 protection rating ensures resistance to dust and water splashes, extending installation versatility. The product is supplied complete with an installation box and is classified as Insulation Class I. Versions with colour temperatures of 2700 K and 4000 K are available on request, as are Spot 15° and Flood 33° optics, to suit a wide range of lighting design requirements.
