Flos infra-structure episode 2 c3 linear and circular module led lamp

Thanks to a special connection system, it is possible to combine vertical and horizontal elements to create three-dimensional combinations in infinite variations using linear and geometric modules. The mechanical connection between the individual modules that make up the structure is made through a screw system that guarantees a fast and safe installation. Each module is locked in place by integrating two small, almost invisible grub screws once the installation is complete. The electrical connections of the lighting modules are extremely simple to make. Each lighting element is completed by a long 4 m electrical cable equipped with an output micro connector. The cable runs through all the different sections of the vertical structure and is then connected to the grid in the ceiling.
All structural components are made of extruded aluminium tubular profiles painted black or white with 48V feeding.
The system can be controlled as a group (DALI, 1-10V, FLOS Control) through remote power supply units with broadcast control or individual control by means of one single driver for each lighting module. The family is made of lighting modules for general lighting featuring different optics and linear lighting modules providing diffused direct or indirect emission.

Designed by Vincent Van Duysen in 2020 available in matt black and white colors. Possibility to adjust the light intensity through one of the following systems: Push, 0-10V and Dali, FLOS Control. 48Volt input voltage. Designed with high efficiency opal diffusers that allow a uniform downward and upward distribution ensuring a high visual comfort. With special hooks that make it particularly easy to install.

Configuration

The extreme simplicity of the elements and the speed with which they can be combined allows to free up the creativity of the project and to achieve innumerable combinations. As in a three-dimensional network, simply define the vertical axes of the structure and then connect them visually (and electrically) with lighting modules that can freely rotate 360º. An incredible installation flexibility is guaranteed.

Control

- Lighting modules are compatible with DALI, 1-10V and Casambi.
- For 1-10V management, the control system must be active, and the data bus must be connected directly to the controller. In case of individual control one dimmable driver for each lighting unit or group is required.
- To manage the Casambi system a Casambi interface module must be ordered and connected to a DALIor 1-10V driver. To manage the system it is necessary to download the FLOS Control powered by Casambi app (available on Apple Store and Google Play).
