Flos Goldman table lamp

Flos Goldman is a table lamp designed by Ron Gilad in 2013 for Flos, a refined reinterpretation of the iconic 1980s banker's lamp. Minimalist and sophisticated in style, its structure is made of aluminium, with an outer diffuser in transparent methacrylate and an inner diffuser in opal polycarbonate, for uniform, high-quality direct light emission.

Discontinued product: last pieces available. Goldman is no longer in production at Flos, making the remaining units an opportunity worth taking for anyone wishing to add a Ron Gilad design to their collection — a piece set to become increasingly rare on the market.

Functions and technology

The base features an optical dimmable switch with Soft Touch technology, allowing you to switch the lamp on and off and adjust the light intensity with a simple touch. Goldman also stands out for its rear USB port (5V DC, max 1.5A) for charging smartphones and tablets directly from the lamp, a particularly useful feature on desks and bedside tables.

Specifications

The lamp comes with a plug-in power supply with interchangeable plugs compatible with the main international electrical standards (EU, USA, UK, AUS, JAP), for an input voltage of 100-240 V. The 8W LED source emits warm light at 2700K, with CRI 85 for natural colour rendering. Dimensions are 40 cm in height and 25.5 cm in width, with a 250 cm cable. Available in brass/green and black/smoke finishes.
