Flos Glo-Ball C ceiling lamp

Flos Glo-Ball C is the ceiling lamp from the iconic Glo-Ball collection, designed by Jasper Morrison in 1998 through an approach where function and form achieve an essential balance. The spherical diffuser, crafted in mouth-blown flashed opaline glass with an acid-etched exterior finish, recalls the perfectly imperfect shape of a full moon, casting a soft and enveloping light. The threaded ring nut is made of die-cast aluminum alloy with galvanic finish and alodine surface treatment, while the ceiling mount is composed of polyamide reinforced with 30% glass fiber and the diffuser support is in liquid-painted die-cast aluminum alloy.

Available in two versions, Ceiling 1 and Ceiling 2, they differ in size and weight: the first features a Ø330 mm diameter, 270 mm height and weighs 2.4 kg, with a 1x max 150W E27 dimmable source (recommended LED 15W); the second reaches Ø450 mm diameter, 360 mm height and weighs 3.7 kg, with a 1x max 150W E27 dimmable source (recommended LED 15W or 18W). Both are rated IP40 for indoor use and support 100–240 V input voltage for international compatibility.
