Flos Glo-Ball Basic Zero table lamp

Flos Glo-Ball Basic Zero is an iconic table lamp designed by Jasper Morrison in 1998 for Flos. The Glo-Ball collection is rooted in the designer's essential approach, where function and form achieve a timeless balance. The spherical diffuser, Ø190 mm in diameter, is crafted from mouth-blown flashed opaline glass with an acid-etched exterior finish that produces a soft, enveloping glow reminiscent of a full moon. The threaded ring nut is made of die-cast aluminium alloy with a galvanic finish, while the base consists of injection-moulded polyamide reinforced with 30% glass fibre.

With a compact total height of 160 mm and a base diameter of 75 mm, Glo-Ball Basic Zero fits effortlessly on any surface, from a bedside table in the bedroom to a desk in the office or a side table in the living room. The Basic Zero version features an in-line dimmer for step-by-step adjustment of light intensity, while the Basic Zero Switch variant is non-dimmable. The E14 lampholder is compatible with LED light sources, with a universal input voltage of 100–240 V and a protection rating of IP20 for indoor use. Bulb not included.
