Flos Gatto Table Lamp

Flos Gatto is an iconic table lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1960 for Flos. Its soft, rounded silhouette is born from an internal white powder-coated steel structure, coated with a Cocoon resin diffuser sprayed directly onto the frame — creating a luminous cocoon that emits a warm, enveloping glow, reminiscent of the delicate light filtered through a silk cocoon.

Inspired by a sense of affection, curiosity and playfulness — hallmarks of the Castiglioni design philosophy — the Gatto is a timeless piece that brings character and warmth to the living room or the bedroom. Standing 580 mm tall with an upper diameter of 385 mm, it accommodates a single E26-E27 light source (LED or halogen compatible, bulb not included) and features a convenient cable-mounted dimmer for easy light intensity adjustment. Compatible with voltages from 100 to 240 V across multiple international standards, and rated IP20 for indoor use.
