Flos Emi Floor lamp

Flos Emi Floor is a floor lamp by Flos Architectural, designed by Erwan Bouroullec with the aim of bringing professional-quality lighting into residential and hospitality environments. The aluminium structure stands out for its refined minimalism: a slender stem supports the light head, giving the whole piece an almost weightless presence. With a total height of 1700 mm and a diffuser measuring 239×255 mm, Emi Floor is conceived to seamlessly integrate light and form into a single design object.

Emi Floor is ideally suited to the living room or the bedroom, where its Up&Down biemission allows for highly flexible control of the lighting atmosphere. The upper light, delivering 3500 lm, is capable of illuminating an entire room thanks to its anti-glare optics, which ensure maximum visual comfort; the lower light, softer and more intimate at 750 lm, accompanies moments of relaxation without interfering with other light sources in the space. The integrated 75 W LED source operates at a colour temperature of 2700 K — warm white — with a CRI 90 colour rendering index, ensuring accurate and natural colour reproduction. The two lighting channels are controlled independently through capacitive Touch Dimming sensors located on the upper part of the stem, making intensity adjustment intuitive and effortless. The luminaire is rated IP20 for indoor use, insulation class III, and is compatible with the main international electrical standards — EU, USA, UK, AUS, JAP — thanks to an integrated 220–240 V power supply complete with cord and plug.
