Flos Diabolo conical suspension lamp

Flos Diabolo is a conical pendant lamp designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1998, as one of his final collaborations with Flos. The body is crafted in painted aluminium, available in three external finishes — shiny white, beaver brown, and cherry red — while the inside of the diffuser is always shiny white. The light source is a 2 W LED with an E26/E27 socket and a colour temperature of 2700 K warm white, included in the package. The opal glass diffuser ensures soft, even direct lighting.

The name draws inspiration from the classic juggling game of diabolo, which gives the lamp its distinctive conical silhouette. Thanks to the integrated cable reel within the ceiling rose, the diffuser height can be adjusted easily and precisely, with a 2300 mm cord offering generous positioning flexibility. Measuring 125 mm in diameter and 240 mm in length, Diabolo suits both the living room and the kitchen, where its iconic shape becomes a refined and instantly recognisable decorative element.
