Flos Casting Concrete outdoor bollard

Flos Casting Concrete is an outdoor concrete bollard designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Flos Outdoor. Its design evokes the brutalist aesthetic, with an essential, sculptural form that integrates harmoniously into any architectural setting. The body is cast in a mould from a mix of cement and reinforcing fibres, while each fixture is completed with a satin polycarbonate diffuser glued to the heat sink to ensure perfect water tightness. Each piece is crafted individually through an artisanal process, meaning subtle aesthetic and colour differences between fixtures are a mark of the uniqueness of each lamp.

With a compact height of 320 mm, the Casting Concrete is ideal for lining pathways, illuminating borders or enhancing green spaces with a direct asymmetric light beam at 80°. Its IP65 protection rating ensures reliable performance even in adverse weather conditions, making it an excellent choice for the garden and terrace. The integrated 9 W LED source with included driver delivers efficient illumination with a colour rendering index of CRI80, available in colour temperatures of 2700K (650 lm), 3000K (780 lm) and 4000K (800 lm), allowing adaptation to different atmospheres and design preferences. The fixture is compatible with universal voltages of 100–240 V and is rated Insulation Class II. It is supplied with a neoprene cable lead, an electrical connection kit for a single multi-core cable, and anchors for installation on solid surfaces. The use of a connection system with a protection degree equal to or greater than that of the fixture is recommended, along with the installation of a surge protection device on the electrical system, selected according to the specific characteristics of the installation.
