Flos Captain Flint Bollard Outdoor B1 ip65

In keeping with the spirit of the original Captain Flint, Flos presents the new bollard version for outdoor use. Offered in two sizes, the design is very different from the Captain Flint Floor. In fact, it is a fixed solution designed for gardens and outdoor domestic environments, with its classic swivelling head. The “invisible” system that maintains the balance of the diffuser and the slender tubular structure, allows the diffuser to be rotated in 8 different positions; the beam can be directed downwards for direct light or against a wall for a gentle halo of light. Captain Flint Bollard has also been adapted with materials, finishes and technological waterproofing that meet the requirements for outdoor luminaires.

The structural parts are treated with a chemical conversion process in order to achieve efficient weather resistance. 316L stainless steel cone and photo-etched anti-UV opal polycarbonate diffuser. Integrated 220-240V On/Off or dimmable power supply. The luminaire is already fitted with a watertight connector for connection to the mains. Available in three different protocol versions: On/Off (non-dimmable), 1-10V or Dali. Outdoor use.

The unit requires mandatory formwork for installation in the ground or cobblestone (to be cast with concrete plinth). NOT INCLUDED, to be ordered separately.
