Captain Flint Bollard Outdoor B1 is Flos Outdoor's compact outdoor bollard, a fixed ground-installation version of the iconic Captain Flint system designed for gardens and residential outdoor environments. True to the spirit of the original, it features a swivelling head adjustable in 8 different positions, held in balance by an "invisible" mechanism that allows the beam to be directed downwards for direct illumination or towards a vertical surface for a soft atmospheric halo. The slender tubular structure is treated with a chemical conversion process to ensure efficient weather resistance, while the cone is crafted in 316L stainless steel and the diffuser in photo-etched anti-UV opal polycarbonate.

Designed to enhance prestigious outdoor areas and residential gardens, Captain Flint Bollard Outdoor B1 reaches a total height of 841.5 mm with a depth of 295 mm and a diffuser measuring 168×207 mm, for an overall weight of 2.23 kg. The CoB LED light source at 9.5 W delivers 1026 lm with a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white), a colour rendering index greater than 80 and a symmetric 112° beam angle. The IP65 rating ensures full protection against dust and water jets, confirming suitability for outdoor installation. The integrated 220–240 V power supply is compatible with the main international standards (EU, AUD, USA, UK, JAP) and is available in three control protocols: On/Off, 1-10V or DALI, allowing seamless integration with any home automation system. The luminaire is already fitted with a watertight connector for mains connection. Versions with a colour temperature of 2700 K or 4000 K are available on request only.
