Flos APPS Emergency wall signs

The design of the APPS luminaire, created by Jorge Herrera for Flos, is based on the concept of "flying signs". With just one LED integrated in the device, two different types of lighting are obtained: the lighting of the sign itself and an additional soft diffused perimeter ligh. This creates signage that appears to float in front of the wall and integrates unobtrusively into its surroundings. Since the rooms and environments are not permanently used for the same purpose, it is advantageous that the signage can be easily replaced without having to remove the installation frame from the wall. APPS gets several awards for its original design. International awards for excellence in design IDEA 2013. Good Design Award 2012. Red Dot Award: Product Design 2012.

Concept - Recessed emergency signaling luminaire for indoor applications. Power supply and emergency device included. Autonomy of 4 hours, flow 80%. Available in a range of different configurations: 90° DIR, 45° DIR, Exit Right, Exit Left, Exit, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Hose, Fire Alarm.
