Flos A-Rise 49 Recessed ceiling downlight matte Stainless Steel

Flos A-Rise 49 is a recessed ceiling LED downlight from the Flos Outdoor collection, designed for precise architectural installations where formal discretion and outstanding reliability are paramount. The body is crafted from turned aluminium (EN AW-6060 alloy) with 15-micron anodizing for high corrosion resistance, while the cap and ring are made of AISI 316L stainless steel, ensuring a premium finish even in exposed environments. A transparent polycarbonate diffuser completes a compact structure measuring just 49 × 47 mm, with a 38 mm mounting diameter.

Rated IP67, the A-Rise 49 is ideally suited for high-end outdoor installations, where minimalist aesthetics meet solid technical performance. It fits seamlessly into gardens and terraces, pathways, pergolas and exterior surfaces where light must integrate into the architecture without intruding. The included LED source absorbs 2.3 W and operates at low voltage 12÷24V DC (remote driver to be ordered separately), with a 45° beam angle, also available in a narrow 15° beam version upon request. Luminous output varies by colour temperature: the 2700K/CRI 80 version delivers 144 lm (output 97 lm), the 3000K/CRI 80 version offers 155 lm (output 105 lm), and the 4000K/CRI 80 version reaches 161 lm (output 109 lm). The 2200K colour tone is also available on request. With an average LED lifespan of 50,000 hours, the A-Rise 49 stands out for its exceptional longevity. A dimmable version is available upon request. The luminaire is compatible with the main international voltage standards: EU, AUS, USA, UK and JAP. The aluminium components feature a QUALICOAT-compliant double-layer coating: a first layer of epoxy powder for chemical and mechanical resistance, and a finishing layer of polyester powder for UV and weather protection. The luminaire is supplied complete with springs for plasterboard installation and a 200 mm neoprene cable with crimp connectors and adhesive heat-shrink tubing for a watertight connection. Wiring is in parallel and complies with EN 60598-1 standard, insulation class III.
