Canova imagined his Venus surprised in intimacy and gave her a marble veil to escape prying eyes. The designer Fabio Novembre adds an architecture of wooden shelves to the height of the most secret parts of her body, to camouflage her between words and things. Fabio Novembre draws inspiration from the wooden crates used by museums to transport statues, transforming them into poetic design objects. The category indicates it as a bookcase but a deferred look could find in Venus the statue of a goddess. Both readings are correct and merge with each other. This is Venus: art, the possibility of enjoying its beauty and function that design can never escape. A true work of art with a strong scenographic impact, able to give a mystical style to the furniture.
