Driade Roly Poly decorative armchair

The Roly Poly chair has been recognized as an iconic design of the last decade. Launched in 2014 as part of Faye Toogood's Assemblage 4, its smooth, coiled and voluptuous shape was inspired by motherhood. Models of this iconic chair have been acquired for the permanent collections of museums around the world, including The Corning Museum of Glass, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Denver Art Museum, High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Columbus Museum of Art, and the National Victoria Gallery.

The characteristic of Roly Poly, a monobloc piece of furniture, is the bowl shape of the welcoming seat, with cylindrical legs and delicately linear shapes that give it a massive appearance. Made of polyethylene by rotational molding, it is available in different fun, original and playful finishes. The seat can be enriched with padded pillows that nestle perfectly into the curved shape, in different fabrics and colours. Roly Poly is also suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
