Driade PIP-E is a decorative design chair signed by the iconic Philippe Starck, crafted as a polypropylene monobloc. Its manufacturing process employs a gas-injection technology within the legs, resulting in a structure that is remarkably lightweight — under 5 kg — without compromising structural integrity. The horizontal blades forming the seat and backrest follow one another in a rhythmic chiaroscuro pattern that traces the inner curvature of the knee, lending the piece a visual lightness that is both refined and purposeful. The chair is available in white, dark grey, powder pink and lavender, and can be specified with or without armrests.
