Diesel ROD battery table lamp

Diesel ROD is the rechargeable table lamp born from the Diesel Living x Lodes collaboration, whose design concept is inspired by the shape of a construction rod. A slender aluminium stem connects two concrete-like blocks, supporting a methacrylate shade housing a 2W LED light source at 3000K with a CRI95 colour rendering index. The result is an object with an industrial yet refined character, available in Moss Gray, Soft Pink, Ivory and Dark Asphalt finishes.

Compact and sturdy, ROD stands out for its versatility: it recharges via a USB-C port protected by a rubber cap, with a charging cycle of approximately 3 hours. The integrated battery provides up to 8 hours at full power, 48 hours at 50%, and up to 180 hours at minimum brightness — ideal for those seeking flexibility without cable constraints. Dimming — MacAdam 3-Step dimmable — is achieved simply by touching any part of the shade. The IP54 rating makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. The battery can also be disconnected during extended periods of non-use to preserve its long-term performance. With a total height of 35.6 cm and a diameter of 13.3 cm, ROD fits elegantly into any residential or hospitality setting, from the living room to the bedroom.
