DCW Tau Collection Cauvet table lamp

DCW Tau Cauvet Collection is a table lamp designed by Clément Cauvet for the French brand DCW. The project draws inspiration from the Greek letter "τ", translating it into an essential and rigorous sculptural form that sits on the boundary between design object and architectural installation. The structure combines concrete and steel in a gold finish: the cement, solid and tactile, recalls the stability of architecture, while the steel adds a touch of luminous contemporaneity. The result is a refined balance between the weight of matter and the lightness of diffused light.

The Tau lamp enhances environments with a refined aesthetic, where the line between art and function becomes delicate. It is perfectly suited to a distinguished living room or a thoughtfully designed office, as well as a bedroom where light becomes a scenic element. The integrated 6.8 W LED source emits warm light at 2700 K with a luminous flux of 680 lm, distributed in a diffused manner to gently envelop the surrounding space. The lamp is dimmable, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted to suit the desired atmosphere. The integrated driver operates at 100–240 V, making it compatible with the main international electrical standards (EU, AUD, USA, UK, JAP). With dimensions of 400 × 458 × 170 mm and a net weight of 8 kg, the lamp commands a striking presence on any surface. The power cable is 2 m long and the integrated driver operates at 400 mA / 24 V. The IP20 protection rating makes it suitable for indoor use, in compliance with insulation class II. The lamp is equipped with an included switch for immediate and practical use.
